Skybeam Estates

As I approached putting this page together, I was asked 'What do you want to tell someone who is considering land in your regions?'.
My gut reaction was to say, 'That they need to do their homework and research everything about land and all their options both on and off my estates before making a decision'.
I suppose that isn't the right way to approach marketing, or even on the same page with most people's ideas of what to tell someone who might be looking for land when you want them to buy your land, but it is mine.
If I have to tell you what sets SkyBeam Estates apart, it starts there.
I'm not your average Estate Owner. I will always give you all the information that I can to help you make a decision, even things that aren't complimentary.
I will never reclaim your land frivolously or tell you 'no refunds ever'.
I believe in my estates. I believe that together with my residents, we are one of the best estates on the grid and we are growing and getting better all the time.
SkyBeam Estates started in 2006 with Scepterd Isle (residential) and SkyBeam (commercial).
I centered SkyBeam around a sandbox, gifting the greater SL community with a place to build, a passion of mine and one I wanted to share with everyone.
I themed Scepterd Isle with a setting of sunny tuscan countryside, and it all built from there. I wanted a chance to bring my own touch to the properties available in Second Life.
I wasn't certain I could do it better, but I could do it my way and see what happened.
We are almost two years old now and over thirty regions strong (including remotely placed regions) and include commercial, residential, mixed-use and Open Space (low prim) regions and we are becoming more than just a place to live, we are becoming a community.
Community resources are expanding, both provided by the estate and by our residents, including the sandbox, the Harbour Cove sailing club and all its hidden amenities, extensive sailing areas, riding trails throughout the northern regions, a show-jump course on SkyBeam Pastures, our developing University and forthcoming ferry system.
I invite you to explore the estates, join the SkyBeam Community group, attend our community events and IM me personally with any questions you might have about land ownership in SL (or join us on Q&A night and ask about anything SL related!).
Oh, yes, and do please wander past our website (and blog) and check out the available properties.
Can't forget the sales pitch, can we?
Looking forward to meeting you!
